The Bulldogs got off to a strong start to their season with two big wins; they defeated their Mississippi 8 Conference rival St. Francis 43-27 with a 8-5 match split and four big falls. The Bulldogs defeated AA Lean and Mean Scott West 47-15 with a 10-4 match split and four falls. Six Bulldogs went 2-0: Bennett Kujawa (106), Ethan Anderson (152), Mason Doucette (160), Dylan Kolby (220) and Bryce Kuschel (285). The Bulldogs defeated a pair of foes at the Princeton triangular, they defeated No. 6AA Section 6AA rival Princeton 44-19 (9-5) and Milaca-Christian Faith 59-9 (12-2). Noah Jurek (113), Kaden Nicolas (120), Landon Kujawa (126), Mason Doucette (160), Adam Jurek (170), Tyson Ricker (182) and Dylan Kolby (220) all went 2-0 at the triangular. The Bulldogs earned second place at the Delano “Tigers” Invitational with 191 points and fourteen place winners. They were defeated by No. 9AA ranked, Section 2AA Watertown-Mayer, as they finished with 211 points. Kaden Nicolas (120) and Dylan Kolby (220) both earned championship medals and Landon Kujawa (126), Owen Angell (145), Mason Doucette (160), Dylan Weber (195) and Bryce Kuschel (285) all earned second place. FOLEY FALCONS
The Falcons opened their season with four dual meet wins over the field of teams at the Chisago Lakes Wildcats duals. The Falcons defeated Section 1A Kenyon-Wanamingo 38-31 (7-7), New Richland Heartland-Ellendale-Geneva from Section 2A 60-13 (11-3), Chisago Lakes (Section 4AA) 69-9 (12-2). And Cambridge-Isanti from Section 7AA 40-33 (8-6). Elijah Novak (285) and Levi Jacobson (126) both went 4-0; Cyler Ruhoff (113) and Colton Rothfork (220) went 3-1. Isaac Milejezak (145), Evan Miller (152), Cole Rudnitski (160), Wyatt Harris (182) and Alex Jennissen (1450 all went 2-0. The Falcons split their duals at the first home event of the season, they defeated AA Lean and Mean and Section 6AA rival Annandale/Maple Lake (9-5 match split). They were defeated by the No. 4AA ranked and Section 6AA rival Big Lake 51-20 (4-10). Elijah Novak (285) and Cyler Ruhoff (113) both went 2-0 at their Falcons triangular. The Falcons were short a couple of their starters at the Brainerd “Paul Bunyan” Invitational, where they did have a good team performance with 122 points to earn third place in this sixteen team field of teams. They earned ten medals with Elijah Novak (285) earning their lone championship and Cyler Ruhoff (113) and Caden Ruhoff (160) both earned second place. Alex Jennisson (145) and Josiah Peterson (182) both earned third place and Aiden Nicholiski (195) earned fourth place. Chance Jones (170), earned fifth place, Cole Rudnitski (152) and Andy Boettcher (195) both took sixth place and Evan Miller (145) took seventh place.

The Coop had a good week with a pair of wins over a pair of Section 6AA foes at the Albany “Husky” triangular. They defeated Albany 43-27 and Zimmerman 52-27. Anton Cox (106), Victor Franco (126), Gabe Nelson (132), Devin Steinhaus (145), Shelby Fischer (152), Jude Link (160 and Tate Link (195) all went 2-0. They had a good tournament performance with eight medal winners for 139.5 points to earn third place at the Chaska “Ethan Herman Memorial” Invite; Victor Franco (126) earned their lone championship and Tate Link (182) earned second place. The Hornets opened their season with a pair of big wins, they defeated No. 4AA ranked Princeton and now Section 6AA rival 44-35 (8-6 match split/6 falls) and Section 6AA foe Sauk Rapids/Rice 77-6 (13-1 match split/10 falls). Brett Bordwell (182), Nolan Reiter (138), Tyler Dehmer (160), Beau McRone (106), Cash Sixberry (120) and Christian Noble (126) went 2-0 in the duals. The Hornets earned second place at their invitational, just 2.5 points behind No. 4A ranked Royalton/Upsala. They earned 204.5 points with twelve place winners, led by championships by Cash Sixberry (120), Christian Noble (126) and Kane LaPointe (285). Nolan Reiter (138) earn second place and Dillon Browen (145) , Tyler Dehmer (160), and John Murphy (170) all earned third place. The Royals opened their season with an awesome team performance, they earned the championship at the Glencoe-Silver Lake invitational with 221 points and thirteen place winners. They defeated the No. 1A and 3A ranked teams Kimball Area and Jackson County Central. The Royals earned three championships by: Titon Friederichs (106), Jonah Hamberger (126) and Bryce Burkett (152) and earning second place were: Joel Friederichs (106), Parker Jackson (113), Patrick Duske (160) and Ashton Codgdon (220). The Road Crew had an impressive team performance, they earned 199.5 points with fourteen place winners to win the Wadena-Deer Creek “Dennis Kaatz Memorial” Invitational. The Road Crew won two championships by Parker Zutter (106) and Connor Tulenchik (182). Their earned four second place medals by: Easton Miller (113), Korey Kinyon (160), Corbin Knapp (195) and Matthew Foster (285). Caleb Ruhl (138), Chance Abraham (182) and Carson Kinyon (145) both earned third place. The Mustangs opened their season with a good team performance with 188 points to earn second place at the Ellsworth, Wisconsin invitational. The Mustangs had ten place winners, including second place medals by Anthony Nelson (120), Nathan Nelson (138) and Connor Gmahl (170). Brock Folkema (145), Avery Nelson (152), Jared Yates (195 and Dylon Adams (220) all earned third place medals. The Lightning opened their season at the Coon Rapids “Board/Hyland” Duals, where they went 2-2, they defeated AAA Coon Rapids 54-29 and Section 4AA North Branch 69-10. They were defeated by No. 4AA Section 6AA foe Princeton 38-33 and AAA Lean and Mean Hastings 41-35. The Lightning had three wrestlers go 4-0: Noah Gindele (120), Mitchell Kloss (132) and Riley Hall (182). Zach Pribyl (138), Cole LaFave (145) and Carson Cooper (170) all went 3-1 at the duals.

The Spartans opened their season with a good team performance, they earned third place a the Osseo Tournament wit 102 points and nine place winners. Kameron Moscho (106), Austin Moscho (152) and Mason Orth (182) all earned second place medals. Luke Hemmesch (145), Ryan Rose (170), Matthew Goebel (195) and Grady Minnerath (220) all earned third place medals. Jack Major (126) earned fifth place and Aaron Baisley (160) took sixth place. The Huskies had an awesome season opening performance with a 153.5 points to earn the championship at the Sauk Centre/Melrose Invitational. The Cubs opened their season at the Glencoe-Silver Lake Invitational, this included several ranked teams and numerous rank individuals. This included Jackson County Central (Section 3A, No. 3A) and Watertown-Mayer (Section 2AA, No. 11AA). The Cubs earned third place with 194.5 points and eleven place winners. They earned five championships by: Mark Schiefelbein (113), Gavin Winter (132), Carter Holtz (195), Haden Rosenow (220) and Ace Meyer (285). Ashton Hanan (170) earned second place, Lucas Jurek (138) and Brett Schiefelbein (152) both earned third place medals. Mark Brutger (126) and Logan Kuseske (160) both earned fourth place and Cody Leither (145) took sixth place. Kimball had a triangular cancelled this week.

The Jaguars opened their season at the own invitational; where they earned second place behind No. 11AAA ranked Willmar. They had eleven place winners for 190 points. The Royalton-Upsala Royals opened season with a very impressive team performance to win the Big Lake Hornets invitational. The Hornets were ranked No. 7AA with a win over the No. 4AA ranked Princeton Tigers on Thursday night. The Royals minus a couple of starters, they earned twelve place winners, including two championships and five second place. They scored 207 points to defeat Big Lake by 2 1/2 points. WEST CENTRAL ARE/ASHBY/BRANDON EVANSVILLE KNIGHTS
The Knights defeated three section 6A rivals in triangular action; Ottertail Central 75-6, Pelican Rapids 84-0 and Wadena-Deer Creek 78-0. The Knights had a good team performance with 196 points and thirteen place winners. They earned second place at the their “Grant County” Invite; just eight points behind the No. 2A ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa. Reubens Swanson (145) was their lone champion and earning second place were; Hunter Gruchow (132), Anthony Sykora (170), Beau Robinson (182), Colton Lindquist (220) and Justin Blascyk (285). Career Lohse (113), Adam Lohse (120), Sam Olson (126) and Solomon Wales (138) all earned fourth place. Owen Gruchow (106), Ashton Danner (160) and Will Rustan (195) all earned fifth place.

The Warriors earned fifth place at the Wadena-Deer Creek “Dennis Kaatz Memorial Invitational, despite missing some of their starters. They earned 124.5 points with seven place winners. The Huskers opened their season minus a couple of their starting wrestlers. They earned fifth place with 112.5 points at the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Invitational with nine place winners. Will Pilarski earned the championship at 145 and Drew Lange (138), Wyatt Pilarski (113) and Wyatt Novitzki (106) all earned second place medals. Masyn Patrick (126) earned third place and Evan Lichy (170) earned fourth place. Cyril Féria (195) earned fifth place and Alex Sanchez-Mohs (285) took sixth place. The Huskers had a pair of big wins at the Delano Tigers triangular, with wins over Section 4A foe Norwood Young America 62-3 (13-1) and Section 2AA Delano 62-18 (11-3). The Raiders were missing a few of their wrestlers in the opening event at the Wadena-Deer Creek “Dennis Kaatz Memorial” Invite. They earned 124 points for sixth place in the nine team field of teams with seven place winners. Reese Thompson (138) and David Revering (126) both earned second place medals. Justin Olson (106), Bennet Arceneau (120), Evan Jared (1260 and Deagen Captain (132) all earned third place and Preston Captain (113) earned fourth place. The Raiders split a pair of Park Region Conference duals; they defeated Ottertail Central 70-3 and they were defeated by the No. 10A ranked United North Central 49-27 (9-5). Justin Olson (106), Preston Captain (113), Evan Jares (126), David Revering (132), Blake Sumstad (138), Reese Thompson (152), Holden Truax (160) and Gideon Ervasti (220) all went 2-0. MINNEWASKA AREA LAKERS
The Lakers opened their season with a pair big dual meet wins over Section 5A foe BOLD 73-3 (13-1/4 Falls) and AA Glencoe/Silver Lake 47-27 (9-5 match split) At a very tough Big Lake Hornet Invitational, they earned 168 points for a strong third place. They finish behind No. 4A Royalton-Upsala and No. 7AA Big Lake. The Lakers had ten place winners, two earned second place medals: Jacob Blair (145) and Nathan Rankin (220). Miles Widman (106), Tori Johnson (113), Nick Ankeny (126), Mason Schiffler (132) and Xander Johnson (182) all earned third place. Easton McCrory (138) and Dalton Freidichs (170) both earned fourth place and Chase Boilke (195) earned fifth place. Only part of the BHV/PP duals were reported, the Lakers according to what was posted split duals. They defeated Minneota 45-24 and they were defeated by Section 5A rival BBE 61-18.
HOWARD LAKE/WAVERLY/WINSTED LAKERS
The Lakers open their season at the Glencoe/Silver Invitational, they were short some wrestlers. They earned 69 points with six place winners. The Eagles opened their season earning fourth place at the Sauk Centre/Melrose tournament. They earned 94 points with eight placers, despite the fact they were missing a pair of starters. Sonnie Deheer (195) and Austin Schlangen (285) both earned championships. Teagyn Ludwig (132), Gavin Mathies (160) and Ryan Schueller (182) all earned second place. Isaac Ortiz (152) earned third place and Gavin Caron (145) and Treyce Ludwig (152) both earned sixth place. The Eagles earned tenth place with 89.5 points and six place winners in the sixteen field of teams at the Brainerd “Paul Bunyan” Invitational. Sam Nistler (170) earned second place and Gavin Mathies (160) and Austin Schlangen (285) both earned fourth place. Isaac Ortiz (152) earned fifth place and Teagyn Ludwig (126) earned fifth place and Rylan Schueller (182) took sixth place. They were without a couple of their wrestlers in this event.
KERKHOVEN-MURDOCK-SUNBURG FIGHTING SAINTS
The Fighting Saints opened their season a little short handed and yet they earned fifth place with 117 points at the Big Lake “Hornets” Invite. They was a very tough tourney with the No. 3A and No. 4A ranked teams in the field. The Fighting Saints had six place winners, including one championship by Trey Gunderson (106) and Coy Gunderson (160), Noah Johnson (120) and Mason Olson (195) all earned third place and Jett Olson (152) earned fourth place. The Fighting Saints splits their duals; they defeated Section 3A foe Pipestone Area 45-26 and they were defeated by AA Worthington 35-34. Trey Gunderson (113), Ely Johnson (145), Coy Gunderson (160) and Mason Olson (195) all went 2-0 in their triangular.
CLASS AAA
SAINT MICHAEL-ALBERTVILLE KNIGHTS
The opened their season with a big win over No. 7AAA Section 8AAA rival Bemidji 43-27. At their “Knights” Invitational, with a field of teams that included No. 2AAA Waconia, No. 12AAA Forest Lake and AAA Lean and Mean St. Cloud Crush. They earned 238.5 to claim the championship with fourteen place winners. Chase Mills (106), Landon Robideau (126), Cole Thoennes (132), Eli Davis (145) and Cole Becker (152) all earning championship medals. Ian Schutz (120) and Tanner Baker (126) both earned second place, Jimmy Heil (170) earned third place, Jarret Wadsen (138), Titus Johnson (220) both earned fourth place and Tyson Hentges (182) and Logan Torkelson (285) both earned fifth place. The Knights had an awesome team performance with 286.6 points and fourteen place winners to win the Maple Grove “Crimson” Invite. They defeated No. 4AA Big Lake by nearly 30 points. Mason Mills (113), Eli Davis (145), Cole Becker (152), Jarrett Wadsen (138) and Jed Wester (160) all earned championships. BEMIDIJI LUMBERJACKS
The Lumberjacks opened their season with a couple of big dual meet wins over Section 7AA rival Grand Rapids 74-6 (13-1/11 Falls) and over Section
8AA foe Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton 55-9 (11-3/7 Falls). The Lumberjacks were defeated by the No. 1AAA Saint Michael-Albertville 43-27 (9-5/4 Falls). The Lumberjacks defeated rival Thief River Falls 52-23 (9-5) and Perham 55-15 (11-3). The Lumberjacks had a very good team performance with 205 points and thirteen place winners to earn the championship at the Brainerd “Paul Bunyan” Invite. Thade Osborn (160), Seth Newby (170) and Nate Schwinghammer (220) all earned championships. Gabe Morin (106), Nick Strand (113), Coy Olson (160) and Barrick Nelson (195) all earned third place. The Cardinals had a very good team performance with 230 points and thirteen place winners to earn the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa “Jaguar” Invitational. They defeated the No. 2A rank BBE as they earned seven championships by: Cavin Carlson (106), Ivan Mares (120), Conlan Carlson (132), Braeden Erickson (160), Jonas Anez (170), Romero Trevino (195) and Mason Swanson (220). Steven Cruze (152) earned second place, Isaac Zelaya-Velasquez (145) earned third place and Dante Castellano (285) earned fourth place. Special Note: Conlan Carlson was voted the Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament by the coaches. The Cardinals defeated a pair of foes in a quadrangular this week; they defeated Class A Lean and Mean Tracy-Milroy/Balaton 48-21, AA Redwood Valley 64-18 and Quad City 77-0. Cale Ostrowski (113 and Damien Bentho (170) both earned third place and Cade Ostrowski (120) and Isaiah Germann (126) both earned fourth place and Elijah Germann (132) and Shane Carlson (195) both earned fifth place. The Royals opened their season with a pair of big dual meet wins over Buffalo 52-26 (9-5/5 falls) and Rockford 65-12. The Royals earned second place at the Osseo “Ken Droegemueller” Invitational with 137 pts and eleven place winners. Max Ricks (126) earned their lone championship and Chris Dietl (138), Ty Cassidy (160) and Isaiah Brown (195) all earned second place. The Crush opened their season with two big dual meet wins at the Eden Prairie triangular. They defeated Champlin Park 68-9 and Eden Prairie 60-12. The Crush earned fourth place with 129 points at the Saint Michael Albertville “Knights” invitational with eight place winners in this ten team field of teams. This field did include five ranked teams, the Crush Tucker Hugg (220) earned the championship. Cody Brott (170) earned second place, Jaxon Kenning (138) and Aidan Orth (145) both earned third place. Jesus Ruiz (120) earned fourth place and Tanner Hugg (132) and Sam Long (160) both earned fifth place. The CRUSH had a good team performance with 122 points and seven place winners to tie for third place at the sixteen field of teams at the Brainerd “Paul Bunyan” Invitational. Jaxon Kenning (138) and Cody Brott (182) both earned championship medals. CAMBRIDGE-ISANIT BLUEJACKETS
The Bluejackets opened their season with a pair of dual meet wins; over Section 7A Deer River 45-31 and Section 5AA North Branch 65-6. Leo Edblad, Blaine Wald, Carter Wothe, Scott Simpson, Sam Rodriguez, Maverick Henderson and Trestin Beyers all went 2-0. The Bluejackets had a very good team performance at the “Bluejackets” duals with big wins over Section 1A Kenyon-Wanamingo 43-27, Section 2A NRHEG 60-21 and Section 4AA Chisago Lakes 56-18. They were defeated by Section 6AA, ranked No. 12AA Foley 40-33. Those going 4-0 were: Leo Edblad and Darren Spencer and Scott Simpson went 3-0. Brock Brown, Jacob Henderson and Tristin Byers all went 2-1 and Sam Rodriguez went 2-0. The Blue Jackets defeated conference rival North Branch 65-6 and Section 7A Deer River 45-31. Leo Edblad, Blaine Walsh, Carter Wothe and Scott Simpson all went 2-0. They Bluejackets defeated Park 44-38 and they were defeated by Section 7AAA rival Anoka 52-15 and River Falls 43-26. Leo Edblad (113) went 3-0, Scott Simpson (285) went 2-0 and Carter Wothe (126) went 2-1.
SARTELL-ST. STEPHEN SABRES
The Sabres opened their season with a good team performance, as they earned fourth place at the ten team field of teams at the Big Lake Hornets invitational. They earned 135.5 points with nine placers, including an impressive performance by four of the Sabres. Spencer Johnson (132), Dylan Enriquez (138), Ashton Lipinski (152) and Will Budge (195) all earned championships. Zach Anderson (126) and Tucker Mugg (285) both earned fourth place, Alex Hendrickson (106), Julian Morris (120) and Larkin Lang (182) all earned fifth place. The Sabres earned six medals at the sixteen team of field of teams in the Brainerd “Paul Bunyan Invitational. They took eighth place with 110 points, Spencer Johnson (126) and Will Budge (195) both earned second place medals. Ashton Linpinski (152) earned third place, Alex Hendrickson (106), Dutch Nordby (132) and Kaden Brooks (138) both earned fifth place. They were without their No. 7 ranked wrestler, Dylan Enriquez.

The Flyers opened their season at the Edina “Hornets” Invite where they earned fourth place with eleven place winners. Kobi Cameron (120) and Noah Cameron (126) both earned championships.
