The Road Crew did graduate one senior last spring, they will have back seventeen with a wide range of varsity experience. They set a school record for dual meet wins last season with 29 huge wins. They did defeat Fergus Falls in their first section 8AA dual 81-0 and Detroit Lakes in the semifinals 37-27. The Road Crew defeated the Lakers of Detroit Lakes 43-25 for the Section 8AA championship. They were defeated by Princeton for the super section championship. Look for the Road Crew to make a very strong challenge to defend their Section 8AA dual title and challenge for one of those top four spots in the state dual meet campaign. They should make a big challenge to defend their conference honors. They have eleven section place winners and six super section place winners returning and one state medal winner. They have nine back with 21 wins or more. Their key leaders should include: Conner Tulenchik, Owen Carlson, Parker Zutter, Easton Miller, Corbin Knapp, Riley Peters, Max Trumpold, Finnegan O’Dell and Caleb Ruhl.

They were defeated in the section 8AA dual championship by Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus 43-25. They did graduate three seniors last spring, including a pair of section place winners. They will have back thirteen plus with varsity experience, including nine Section place winners, five super section place winners and three state medal winners, including a state champion. They have back ten with double figure wins, including five with twenty wins or more. Look for the Prowlers to make a very strong challenge for section dual meet honors. They should make steady improvement during the course of the year. They should challenge those dual meet marks from last season. Look for their key leaders to be: Brady Kasprick, Griffin Lundeen, Cody Wienen, Jolson Sargent, Kale Geiser and Keigan Hermanson.

The Lakers defeated Alexandria 48-21 in their first round of the Section 8AA duals. They were defeated in the semifinals by Pequot Lakes/Pine River/Backus 37-27. They graduated ten, including a pair that sat out last season with injuries. Four super section placers and a pair of state place winners, that is a huge loss. They will have a lot coming back however with a wide range of experience. They will have back six section place winners, four super section place winner and a state qualifier from two years ago, that sat out due to injury last year. The Lakers should make a strong challenge for one of those top four spots in what should be a very good section dual meet campaign. They should also challenge for conference honors. They will make strides of improvement thru out the course of the season. They should challenge those dual marks from last season. Their key leaders should include: Cade Jackson, Brady Swiers, Tyson Ullyott, Cade Okeson, Jeffry Mason and Cole Weber.

They graduated three seniors last spring, including a pair of super section placers, of which one was a state medal winner. they will have eleven back with a wide range of experience, including five section place winners, four super section place winners and a state medal winner. They will have five back with double figure wins. Look for the Yellowjackets to fill with some of their junior varsity, they should make strides of improvement thru out the season. They should make a strong challenge for a top four spot in this section dual meet campaign. They will make a challenge to defend their conference honors. The Cardinals should continue to make strides of improvement thru out the season. They should challenge those dual marks from last season and likely move up in the conference standings.
