Minnewaska Lakers
The Lakers defeated their section 5A rival Paynesville 60-7 with a 12-2 match split, including three falls. The Lakers were defeated by the No. 2A ranked Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa 40-20 with a 5-9 match split. Max Reichmann, Dalton Fredrichs, Ryan VanLuik, Tyson Meyer and Jakob Swalla all went 2-0. The Lakers had nine Section 5A place winners. Those that advanced to the championship were: Max Reichmann (152), Ryan VanLuik (170), Tyson Meyer (182) and Jakob Swalla (285). Those that advanced to the third place match were: Nick Ankeny (106), Jayce Kovarik (113), Chase Smith (120), Dalton Friedrichs (160) and Dylan Koubsky (195). The Lakers had six Super Section 5/6 place winners; Tyson Meyer (182) 1st place, Jakob Swalla (285) 2nd place, Ryan VanLuik (170) 3rd place, Max Reichmann (152) 6th place and Dalton Fredrichs (160) 6th place.
Morris Area Tigers
The Tigers defeated Section 3AA rival Redwood Valley 48-30 with a 10-4 match split, including eight falls. They were defeated by their rival New London-Spicer 52-19 with a 4-10 match split. Tyce Anderson, Ethan Lebrija, Davin Rose and Hunter Gibson all went 2-0. The Tigers had seven Section 3AA place winners; those that advanced to the championship were: Dallas Walton (113), Ethan Lebrija (126) and Davin Rose (132). Those that advanced to the Third place match were: Noah Amundson (170), Asher Malek (182), Hunter Gibson (195) and Brock Marty (220). The Tigers had three Super Section 2/3: Davin Rose (132) 1st place, Ethan Lebrija (126) 2nd place and Dallas Walton (113) 4th place.
Benson Braves
The Braves were defeated by their Section 5A rival and Lean and Mean Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 22-53 with a 5-9 match split. The Braves had five Section 5A place winners. Those that advanced to the championship were: Thomas Dineen (195) and Alden Syltie (220). Those advancing to the third place match were: Adam Koosman (152), Adam Zosel (160) and Nathan Bolduc (170). The Braves had four Super Section 5/6 place winners: Thomas Dineen (195), Alden Syltie (220) 4th place, Adam Koosman (152) 6th place and Nathan Bolduc (170) 6th place.
Dawson-Boyd/Lac qui Parle/Montevideo United
The United defeated Section 3AA rival New London-Spicer 43-33 with a 7-7 match split. They were defeated by Lean and Mean Marshall 28-39 with a 6-8 match split. Daniel Gunlogson and Keaton Haas both were 3-0 and Zander Clausen, Dain Mortenson, Avery Wittebel and Holt Larson all went 2-1. The United had five Section 3AA place winners, those advancing to the championship were: Daniel Gunlogson (106), Dain Mortenson (152) and those advancing to the third place match were: Zander Clausen (126), Avery Wittnebel (160) and Trey Teichert (285). The United had four Super 2/3 Section place winners; Dain Mortenson (152) 2nd place, Daniel Gunlogson (106) 6th place, Zander Clausen (126) 6th place and Trey Teichert (285) 6th place.
BOLD Warriors
The Warriors had two Section 5A place winners that advanced to the championship match; Tim Peppel (285) and Austin Kiecker (132). They both earned a spot in the state tournament at the Super 5/6 Section: Tim Peppel (285) 1st place and Austin Kiecker (132) 2nd place.
Sauk Centre-Melrose
They were defeated in their first round of Section 8AA duals by No. 8AA ranked Thief River Falls 57-12, with a 3-11 match split. The Coop had one Section 8AA place winner: Mitchell Christen (120) advanced to the championship. Mitchell Christen (120) 3rd place at the Super 7/8 section.
